Mother's Day Staycation at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

This past weekend we ventured to the Omni La Costa for a relaxing and fun weekend in celebration of me :) I've been wanting to stay at this resort for while now mostly because I heard it was a kid haven.  The grounds are absolutely beautiful and everything you need is right on the property.  They have a little bit of everything from shopping, golf, a spa, restaurants and pools (which is where we spent all of our time).  They have an adult-only pool for those looking for a more relaxing experience but having our 3 children with us, we spent pretty much our entire time at the kid's pools.  There is a shallow, zero-entry kids pool that also has a beach with real sand for the little ones to play in.   They also have splash pads and waterslides (which we did on repeat.)  Their setup was great because I actually got to lounge and spend some quality time with my mama while my hubby played SuperDad in the pool with the babes.  

We had a casual dinner at one or their restaurants, Bistro 65.   It had the most gorgeous views looking over the golf course.  We opted to bring Cash and Phoenix's scooters to the resort which worked out perfect and they scootered all around the property before bed.  In the morning, I enjoyed breakfast in bed while snuggling with all my babes.  We then spent the rest of the day back at the pool.  

It was the perfect balance of relaxation and fun.  There is so much more to this resort that we didn't have a chance to explore, but we will definitely be back.
